Information we collect

We collect information for the purpose of providing short term accommodation in the following ways:

⦿ Information you give to us and third parties. In order for us to be able to process the reservation, it is essential that you give us details about yourself when making a reservation. The details include your full name, email, telephone number, permanent address, identity card type and number, date of birth, nationality, and full name of the second guest if there are two guests on one reservation.

If the reservation is paid using the Stripe payment gateway, Stripe processes your bank card information in a tokenized form (whereby a random number is generated to represent your payment). The Stripe payment gateway is PCI DSS compliant which ensures that your information is being handled in accordance with industry security standards. Stripe does not store your bank card information for future use. If for example you want to extend your stay later and additional payment is required, you will be asked by the Stripe to enter the bank card information into the Stripe payment gateway again.

We also collect additional information associated with the reservation, such as the check-in and check-out date and communication relevant to the reservation.

⦿ Information we get in order to increase your security. Shared outdoor areas – the shared garage and the outdoor area in front of the apartment are equipped with a security camera. Personal information which we collect from our security camera system is processed purely for reasons of protecting our property and possessions of our guests and safety of our guests. This information is archived for 7 days, after which it is automatically deleted. This information can be transferred to government entities if they request this information from us.
